grocery or big box store?\u00a0 Well it&#8217;s time to break it out and provide your family with a mouth watering dinner!\u00a0 Just like Turkey &#8230; why only have Ham during holidays?\u00a0 With Hams costing in the $2.25\/lb range these days that 8\u00bd pound Shank Portion Ham I picked up at 88\u00a2\/lb ($7.52) works out perfect.\u00a0 I only wish I had picked up a couple extra Hams &#8230; Here&#8217;s one smoked\/cooked to perfection on a <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"MAK Grills 2 Star General\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/mak-grills-2-star-general\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">MAK 2 Star<\/a> Wood Pellet BBQ Smoker-Grill using Pacific Pellet Gourmet BBQ <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Premium 100% Hickory\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/premium-100-hickory\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Hickory<\/a> Pellets.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Started with an 8\u00bd pound Cook&#8217;s <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Premium 100% Hickory\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/premium-100-hickory\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Hickory<\/a> Smoked (Ready-to-Eat) Shank Portion Ham.\u00a0 The instructions call for cooking this Ham for 20-25 minutes per pound at a temperature of 325\u00baF.\u00a0 At this temperature I estimated the Ham would take 3\u00bd\u00a0 hours to reach an <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Thermapen Mk4 Thermometer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/thermapen-mk4-thermometer\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">internal temperature<\/a> of 140\u00baF and 2\u00bd hours for the Scalloped Potatoes.<\/p>\n<p>Preheated the <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"MAK Grills 2 Star General\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/mak-grills-2-star-general\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">MAK 2 Star<\/a> Wood Pellet BBQ Smoker-Grill to 325\u00baF using Pacific Pellet Gourmet BBQ <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Premium 100% Hickory\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/premium-100-hickory\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Hickory<\/a> Wood Pellets.\u00a0 Put the Ham in for an hour before inserting the Scalloped Potatoes.<\/p>\n<p><a
