{"id":229,"date":"2011-01-18T19:38:07","date_gmt":"2011-01-19T03:38:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/?p=229"},"modified":"2011-01-18T19:38:07","modified_gmt":"2011-01-19T03:38:07","slug":"srg-chicken-drumstick-test","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/srg-chicken-drumstick-test\/","title":{"rendered":"SRG Chicken Drumstick Test"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Decided to try me some drumsticks in the Char-Broil SRG<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.awltovhc.com\/image-4317795-10419257\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/> so I figured why not incorporate a small test that so many others have done.\u00a0 6 of the drumsticks were rubbed with some Roasted Garlic <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Roasted Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/roasted-garlic-extra-virgin-olive-oil\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">EVOO<\/a> and <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Fagundes Seasoning\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/fagundes-seasoning\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Fagundes Seasoning<\/a> under and on the skin.\u00a0 The other 6 were rinsed and coated with Mies All Purpose One-Step Breading.\u00a0 Here you can see the difference in appearance.\u00a0 Give ya 3 guesses as to which was which<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none;\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/SRG\/SRGdrum01182011\/SRGdrum1.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Using some drumstick \u00bd racks for the 1st time.\u00a0 Here they are about 40 minutes later.\u00a0 You can see how they&#8217;re browning differently.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none;\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/SRG\/SRGdrum01182011\/SRGdrum2.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The finish product.
