Spaghetti Squash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBrinedLegs02102012\/BrineLegs5.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The more I brine Chicken and Turkey, the more I wonder why I never brined them in the past or why I should stop brining in the future!?\u00a0 Took a dozen fresh Foster Farms Chicken Legs and brined them for 3 hours using the following simple recipe :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd gallon water<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup of sugar<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup of Kosher Salt<\/li>\n<li>5 Fl ounces of Yasama Teriyaki<\/li>\n<li>1 cup of Mr Yoshida&#8217;s Marinade &amp; Cooking Sauce<!--more--><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cut a small Spaghetti Squash in half and removed the seeds.\u00a0 The photo below shows the seeds and what it should look like after they&#8217;re removed.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBrinedLegs02102012\/BrineLegs1.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After 3 hours, removed the Chicken Legs from the brine, rinsed well, and patted dry.\u00a0 Rubbed Annie&#8217;s Roasted Garlic <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Roasted Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/roasted-garlic-extra-virgin-olive-oil\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">EVOO<\/a> Under\/On the skin and seasoned the legs Under\/On the skin with <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Fagundes Seasoning\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/fagundes-seasoning\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Fagundes Seasoning<\/a>.\u00a0 Covered with plastic and returned to refrigerator for an hour.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBrinedLegs02102012\/BrineLegs6.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Preheated the <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"MAK Grills 2 Star General\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/mak-grills-2-star-general\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">MAK 2 Star<\/a> Wood Pellet BBQ Smoker-Grill to 350\u00baF with <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Premium 100% Hickory\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/premium-100-hickory\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Hickory<\/a> wood BBQ pellets.\u00a0 Cooked the Spaghetti Squash for half an hour before inserting the Chicken Legs.\u00a0 A Leg and Wing Rack is great accessories to have.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBrinedLegs02102012\/BrineLegs2.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cooked the Spaghetti Squash for 1\u00bd hours which resulted in the squash retaining just a slight crunch.\u00a0 Baking time really depends on how big your squash is.\u00a0 A small one will easily feed 4 people.\u00a0 Use a fork to scrape the squash to get long, tasty strands.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBrinedLegs02102012\/BrineLegs3.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wrapped the Spaghetti Squash in foil while giving the Brined Chicken Legs time to reach an <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Thermapen Mk4 Thermometer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/thermapen-mk4-thermometer\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Internal Temperature<\/a> of 180\u00baF+.\u00a0 Took an hour and 10 minutes for the chicken to come to temp.\u00a0 Rested the chicken under a foil tent for 15 minutes before serving.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBrinedLegs02102012\/BrineLegs4.jpg?resize=480%2C640\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Money $Shot$ &#8230;
