That&#8217;s why I decided to create my own and give them a shot.\u00a0 For those that enjoy Chicken white meat this is nirvana!!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Took a couple of 5\u00bd lb fresh Foster Farms Chickens, carved out the leg quarters and part of the lower backbone.\u00a0 The results were nice 3 \u00bd lb Bone-In Chicken Breasts &#8211; just like a Turkey Breast but with the wings still attached.\u00a0 Vacuumed sealed the leg quarters for another day.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBoneIn01132012\/BoneIn1.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Rubbed Annie&#8217;s Roasted Garlic <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Roasted Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/roasted-garlic-extra-virgin-olive-oil\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">EVOO<\/a> and Plowboys BBQ Yardbird Rub On\/Under the Chicken skin.\u00a0 Mounted the Bone-In Chicken Breasts on a Chicken Roaster and preheated the <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"MAK Grills 2 Star General\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/mak-grills-2-star-general\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">MAK 2 Star<\/a> Wood Pellet BBQ Smoker-Grill with <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Premium 100% Hickory\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/premium-100-hickory\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Hickory<\/a> wood BBQ pellets.\u00a0 <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Premium 100% Hickory\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/premium-100-hickory\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Hickory<\/a> smoked the Chicken breasts at 180\u00baF for 2 hours before bumping the temperature to 325\u00baF.\u00a0 Pulled the breasts when the <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Thermapen Mk4 Thermometer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/thermapen-mk4-thermometer\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Internal Temperature<\/a> (IT) reached 170\u00baF.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBoneIn01132012\/BoneIn2.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Took 3 hours to reach an IT of 170\u00baF.\u00a0 Rested the Bone-In Chicken Breasts under a foil tent for 20 minutes before serving.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBoneIn01132012\/BoneIn3.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Money $Shot$ &#8230;\u00a0 A <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Premium 100% Hickory\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/premium-100-hickory\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Hickory<\/a> smoked Bone-In Chicken Breast and wing served with a side of Rice and Corn &#8230;\u00a0 I was amazed at how moist and delectable the breast turned out.\u00a0 I&#8217;m presuming that it&#8217;s a combination of the intact breast bone and skin that helps to retain the moisture.\u00a0 Anxious to brine and\/or inject one of these Bone-In Chicken Breasts next time around.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/Chicken\/MAKBoneIn01132012\/BoneIn5.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve all seen and probably smoked\/cooked\/enjoyed those nice 8-10 lb Bone-In Turkey Breasts over the years.\u00a0 But have you ever seen a Bone-In Chicken Breast?\u00a0 Me neither &#8230;
