{"id":1390,"date":"2011-09-16T14:07:09","date_gmt":"2011-09-16T22:07:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/?p=1390"},"modified":"2021-09-03T09:46:30","modified_gmt":"2021-09-03T16:46:30","slug":"boneless-pork-top-loin-chops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/boneless-pork-top-loin-chops\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple Juice Injected Boneless Pork Top Loin Chops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you shop at a Costco outlet you&#8217;ve probably seen what they call &#8220;Boneless Pork Top Loin Chops&#8221;.\u00a0 Over the years I&#8217;ve done many things with them but this was my first experience at Injecting the Loin Chops.\u00a0 Chose to inject them with <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"CookinPellets Apple Mash\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/cookinpellets-apple-mash\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Apple<\/a> Juice and kept the seasoning simple by using Garlic Salt and Pepper.\u00a0 Plastic wrapped the chops and and into the fridge for 6 hours.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/BBQ%20Smoke\/Pork\/MAKLoinChops09142011\/LoinChop1.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While the Loin Chops are finishing their 6 hour rest in the fridge I cubed some taters, coated them with Annie&#8217;s Roasted Garlic <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Roasted Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/roasted-garlic-extra-virgin-olive-oil\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">EVOO<\/a>, <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Fagundes Seasoning\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/fagundes-seasoning\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Fagundes Seasoning<\/a>, and a Tbsp of Crushed Garlic.\u00a0 Coated a 9&#215;13 pan with <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Roasted Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/roasted-garlic-extra-virgin-olive-oil\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">EVOO<\/a>.\u00a0 Preheated the <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"MAK Grills 2 Star General\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/mak-grills-2-star-general\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">MAK 2 Star<\/a> General Wood Pellet Smoker-Grill with <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Premium 100% Hickory\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/premium-100-hickory\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Hickory<\/a>\u00a0wood BBQ pellets to 400\u00b0F.\u00a0 Inserted the potatoes for 45 minutes flipping them every 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/BBQ%20Smoke\/Pork\/MAKLoinChops09142011\/LoinChop2.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After 45 minutes at 400\u00b0F I turned the MAK 2 down to 325\u00b0 and inserted the Pork Loin Chops.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/BBQ%20Smoke\/Pork\/MAKLoinChops09142011\/LoinChop3.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Took about 45 minutes for the Chops to reach an <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Thermapen Mk4 Thermometer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/thermapen-mk4-thermometer\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Internal Temperature<\/a> of 160\u00b0F.\u00a0 This allowed the Roasted Potatoes to finished cooking at the lower temperature.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i854.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab105\/papa_peter\/BBQ%20Smoke\/Pork\/MAKLoinChops09142011\/LoinChop4.jpg?resize=480%2C360\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Money $Shot$ &#8230; An <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"CookinPellets Apple Mash\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smokinpetebbq.com\/wordpress\/recommends\/cookinpellets-apple-mash\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Apple<\/a> Juice Injected Pork Loin Chop, roasted potatoes, and a side of corn &#8230;
